Podría referirme ahora, por ejemplo, al impresionante retrato en bronce de Obalufón, el mítico soberano proto-yoruba del reino Ilé Ife, pero en vez de eso les hablaré de las mucho más humildes cuentas de latón elaboradas con primor para que luego fueran lucidas por los cuellos más elegantes del lugar: biconos, baulas, pero, sobre todo, esos cascabeles Yoruba fabricados para llamar la atención de vivos y ancestros.
