En el último cuarto del siglo XIX las cuentas bohemas, moldeadas siguiendo procesos industriales, se habían abaratado considerablemente y ahora algunos collares y adornos podían por fin salir de los palacios para caer en manos de clases más populares. Aún así, constituían un símbolo de riqueza que solo se lucían en días y ceremonias especiales.
Ese es el caso de los collares conocidos como de Boda de Mali, elaborados con cuentas bulbosas o en forma de reloj de arena producidas en Bohemia, que a finales de siglo XIX y principios del XX llegaron a ser muy apreciados entre las mujeres de etnia Fulani.
El collar de Boda de Mali que ahora ofrecemos está conformado por 80 cuentas en forma de bulbo de 25 mm de longitud, fabricadas en colores muy variados y vistosos en Jablonec (Imperio Austro-Húngaro, actualmente Chequia) y ensartadas en un hilo de 80 cm.
